A walnut-frame armchair in stone bouclé.
A lounge chair drawn around the human shape: solid walnut frame, exposed; bouclé in stone; tilted back by four degrees so the eye falls naturally to the book in your lap.
Drawn by Tomas in 2024, after he had spent a season repairing a 1940s teak chair we found at an estate sale outside Bath. The original had a four-degree backward cant; we kept it. The frame is solid English walnut, exposed; the seat and back are a separate floating shell upholstered in stone bouclé.
